- SD>> SCSI-CD ->> If i buy a SCSi-CDrom, i can copy sounddata in 16-Bit from
- SD>> CD to HD?? So i can convert it to a 8-Bit IFF-Sample??
-
- Not all CD drives can pass audio data across the SCSI bus, so check that this
- is a feature of the drive before you buy. You can then use a number of programs
- to port the data to RAM. AudioLab 16 JR (available from the Aminet) has
- automatic conversion to 16 bit WAV and AIFF and also 8 bit VOC and IFF samples.
- The best way is to outut a 16 bit file, then maximise its volume in an editor,
- process it there and then convert down to 8 bit.
